Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy Physical Therapy is the branch of medicine devoted to maintaining and restoring each person’s movement and functional ability of the musculoskeletal system. Physical therapy is ordered by Physicians and provided by Physical Therapists, who are healthcare professionals with a master’s or doctorate degree in physical therapy. The Physical Therapist may be assisted by licensed Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA).

The goal of physical therapy is to restore full movement and functionality that may be affected by an injury, disease or age. A treatment plan, customized for each patient, is made by the Physical Therapist and may include:
  • Functional Assessment
  • Exercise
  • Stretching
  • Massage
  • Hot, Cold, and/or Electrical Stimulation
  • Ultrasound
  • Mechanical Traction
We have a Physical Therapy Clinic in both our Allen and McKinney clinics. If you have any questions about our services, please call or visit either office.
